BLUE BLOOD CELLS 5

Did we just take the wrong drugs?

BLUE BLOOD CELLS 5 presents the middle panel of a triptych of three models’ faces in close-up. Inviting gazes draw us closer. A shimmering white light emanates from behind and washes out their contours. Their glances are hypnotic, alluring. Do they want to seduce us, dominate us … or deceive us? Objects resembling blood cells float across the surface. But they are blue, not red, and they pop off the canvas with a neon orange glow. Are we dealing with genetic engineering here, or did we just take the wrong drugs?
